If you are aiming for a super clean diet than these are for you.

Turkey is super low fat and an excellent source of protein. You can rustle this up in no time and if you make a big batch you can freeze portions.
This is the recipe for the meat balls without the sauces. You can have them with tomato sauce, add them to a casserole or just have them plain. They make for an excellent snack or as a main meal.

Really versatile so I thought worth sharing.
Turkey Meat Balls

Ingredients
500g of mince turkey
100g of fresh parsley & coriander leaves
2 garlic cloves
Half a medium red onion
1 free range egg
3 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp cumin
3 tsp turmeric
1 tsp black pepper

Method:

Chop up all the veg and leaves finely.
Place the meat in a large mixing bowl and add all the ingredients.
Mix it well insuring it all gets incorporated with the meat – I use my hand.
Roll into balls the size of the palm of your hand
You can either cook them in a pre-heated oven at 180 degrees for 15 minutes or you can steam them.
I prefer steaming as it keeps in all the moisture and flavours.
